Our client is a prominent engineering and consultancy firm focused on enabling a sustainable future for the industry. To support their growing portfolio in the South-East Netherlands region, they are seeking a medior/senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering projects (EPCM).

In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end project management—from initiation through execution and delivery—on large-scale industrial investment projects (TIC approx. €10–100M). Your focus will include the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors, often contributing to energy transition and sustainability-focused initiatives.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring effective interface management, coordination, and collaboration. You’ll be accountable for scope, budget, procurement, planning, and quality assurance. Key responsibilities include risk management, change and stakeholder management, as well as contractual oversight.

In addition to leading projects, you'll apply your technical expertise to meet project needs and identify when to involve other disciplines. You’ll balance multiple projects and stakeholders, maintain direct communication with clients, and provide regular progress reports. You’ll also handle project administration and billing until final delivery.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business-related field
At least 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in multidisciplinary EPCM environments
Strong technical background with the ability to lead and support complex industrial projects
Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a changing environment
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Experienced in risk, stakeholder, and contract management
Familiar with PMI principles; PMP certification is a strong advantage
Collaborative mindset and a balanced approach to work and personal life
