Step into a pivotal role supporting major offshore energy projects! Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator to help shape competitive and accurate bids by translating complex procurement and engineering inputs into robust cost structures.

Our client provides customized solutions in the field of offshore energy activities. They offer guidance from the initial feasibility studies to the execution of all engineering and procurement activities! They have a proven track record in offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities, and complex steel and mechanical installations for maritime applications, and they are making significant progress in the offshore hydrogen production market.

• Develop a Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) based on project details
• Identify estimation items across disciplines: Mechanical, Safety, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, HVAC, Subcontracts, and General.
• Prepare an Approved Vendor List (AVL) with stakeholder input.
• Estimate purchase order packages 
• Vendor quotations: Collect requisitions from discipline leads.
• Manage NDAs, issue enquiries, and track vendor bids.
• Evaluate and normalize quotes, conduct Q&A sessions, and finalize budgets.
• Account for additional costs like spares, support, contingencies, and training.
• In-house estimates: Utilize historical data or expert input for reliable estimates.
• Ensure estimates are traceable and updated as needed.
• Maintain and manage the Cost Estimate Sheet, ensuring database accuracy throughout the process.

• Strong experience in procurement and estimation within EPC or offshore energy projects
• Proven ability to develop and manage a detailed CBS and cost estimate database
• Skilled in identifying multi-discipline estimation items and managing PO package estimates
• High proficiency in MS Excel; able to maintain complex cost tracking sheets
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical memory and attention to detail
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
• Ability to manage vendor quotations, track enquiries, and handle NDAs and bid evaluations
• Stress-resistant and deadline-driven, with a clear sense of prioritization
• Senior presence with the ability to explain estimates in-depth to senior stakeholders
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities, maintaining a helicopter view across tasks.
