Are you a seasoned Cost Estimator with a sharp analytical mind and strong numerical insight? Join our client’s team and play a pivotal role in shaping industrial investment projects—from initial concept to full realization.

You will be part of the national Cost Engineering department, which supports all of our client’s offices across the Netherlands. Working alongside a team of engineers, you will help develop project designs and provide independent, reliable cost estimates at various phases of development. Your assessments and reports will be essential in supporting key investment decisions.

Our client is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support the successful delivery of industrial investment projects, starting from the very first sketch on paper. In this role, you will be actively involved in all stages of the design process, from early conceptualization to detailed cost estimations.

You will take the lead in interactive “pit stop sessions” with clients, comparing different conceptual solutions from a cost perspective and advising on the optimal path forward. Additionally, you will prepare budget estimates, verify cost structures, and perform second opinions. By collecting and analyzing data, you will also contribute to improving the team's collective cost knowledge.

In short, this is a strategic and analytical role where your input directly influences the success of complex, multidisciplinary projects across industries.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a multidisciplinary project environment, specifically with CAPEX projects
Proven experience in creating cost estimates and investment budgets
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Broad industry experience and ready to take the next step in your career
Strong understanding of engineering processes across multiple disciplines and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Fluent in English, Dutch is preferred

Conceptual thinker with a keen eye for numbers and accuracy, without losing sight of the bigger picture
