As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work within the Electrical, Instrumentation & Process Control (EI&PC) discipline, contributing to impactful projects in the energy transition. You will serve as the right hand to the department head and lead engineer, with clear growth opportunities towards roles like Specialist, Lead Engineer, or even department head.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and calculating complex electrical designs for multidisciplinary projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborating with disciplines such as civil, process, and mechanical engineering to deliver seamless project execution.
• Independently managing small projects and supporting the lead engineer on larger ones, maintaining quality, timelines, and budget control.
• Preparing comprehensive electrical designs, including specifications, key one-lines, consumer lists, layouts, and tracing documents.
• Handling electrical installations ranging from low-voltage setups to high-consumption 20 MVA installations with grid connections up to 110 kV.
• Designing lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems as part of your scope.
• Proactively preventing execution delays by anticipating design challenges and offering innovative solutions.
• Engaging in conceptual engineering through to construction management, playing a vital role in reducing emissions, enhancing energy efficiency, and ensuring safe installations.
• You will thrive in a collaborative, open, and dynamic team environment, where mutual support and approachable colleagues are at the heart of project success.

• A completed MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Technology, Applied Physics, or AOT.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in engineering within complex, multidisciplinary industrial projects.
• Excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to achieving quality results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with Dutch electrical standards and regulations (NEN1010).
• Passion for technology and a drive to contribute to industrial electrification and energy transition projects.
• Eagerness to grow professionally through learning and tackling new challenges.
