This client is a small construction company mainly focusing on residential properties.
They are looking for a site supervisor who can lead their projects and see that the construction runs flawlessly!
The company is a construction company with about 120 people.
They mainly focus on the construction of houses, apartment buildings, and small commercial buildings.
They are active in the Northern area of The Netherlands and are growing at a steady pace but would like to grow quicker.
However, the Netherlands cannot accommodate the people to make that happen. That is why they are now looking abroad to facilitate that need!
As a Site supervisor, you will work on the projects of the company. You will be responsible for managing the men on the construction site and work closely with the project manager and project teams. Your duties include:
-Function as a sparring partner to the project manager and report to him on a daily basis.
-Being the central point of contact on site for subcontractors and construction partners.
-Managing the construction and preparation team.
-Be responsible for the execution and preparation process, including recess drawings and coordination of building services.
-Monitor planning and budget progress.
-Create and adjust logistics planning, including evaluation and areas for improvement.
-Ensuring compliance with internal and external laws and regulations, with an emphasis on safety and quality.
-Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a site supervisor.
-Have a hands-on attitude and like to be on site.
-I have experience with small projects focused on residential buildings.
-Be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
