Are you an expert in electrical engineering design and enjoy mentoring junior team members? Are you looking for a challenging role with complex projects that never get boring? Then you might be our new Lead Engineer Electrical within the Airports unit!
You will provide substantive advice to our airport clients throughout all phases of the design process and support the project manager in communicating about the design. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in engaging with external design partners, executing market parties, and governmental authorities. You will participate in internal and external design meetings and coordinate the installations assigned to you. This involves coordinating with other installations and the architectural and structural design components. Building strong client relationships to be involved early as an advisor is a key part of this role.
- Design: Defining concepts and further developing designs, writing advisory and design reports, and preparing cost estimates.
- Ensuring the design quality and monitoring the hours budget for your design (team).
- Advising clients in all design phases and supporting the project manager in client communication.
- Maintaining contact with external design partners, executing market parties, and governmental authorities.
- Coordinating within the design team, including other disciplines, electrical designers, and modelers.
