Join an international company as an Accountant and take full ownership of end-to-end monthly closing and VAT reporting across multiple entities, from journal entries to reconciliations and compliance. You'll collaborate with Finance Specialists on AR/AP processes, leveraging your numerical expertise and keen attention to detail to deliver timely, strategic insights that propel regional success.

Description

• Complete monthly branch closing, ensuring accurate financial records, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Manage and review cash/bank, purchase/expense, sales/invoice, and AR control processes, including subordinate work.
• Perform and oversee month-end closing tasks, including Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate, timely reports for Branch Managers and HQ, including financial statements and margin analysis.
• Advise branch managers on budgets, financial reports, and responsibilities.
• Prepare or approve payment runs and review expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely compliance with tax (CIT, VAT), statutory filings, and audit requirements.
• Support financial planning and budget reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain JSOX/internal controls and support related audit data gathering and testing.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting/finance, with strong GL accounting exposure
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish
• A collaborative mindset, high ethical standards, and strong interpersonal skills
• A structured, proactive approach with a results-oriented attitude
• A sense of ownership and accountability, able to meet tight deadlines
• The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment

Job Offer

• Competitive salary of 58k-60K per annum (depending on the experience)
• One-year contract with the potential to convert to permanent upon successful completion
