Internal Control Specialist Zwolle • Ausnutria Netherlands

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining the internal control framework across the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure a high standard of control and compliance. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Analyzing and documenting business processes to identify risks and controls; 
• Proactively advising internal stakeholders on best practices in internal control; 
• Planning and performing internal control monitoring activities. 

In addition, you will collaborate with the SAP Support team to manage access controls by ensuring proper segregation of duties and monitoring critical transactions. You will also support the external audit process and take part in finance and business projects that impact internal controls. By reporting deficiencies and recommending improvements, you will contribute directly to the ongoing enhancement of our internal processes and risk management. 

You will become part of a dynamic and committed team at Ausnutria B.V., where teamwork, initiative, and growth are key. In the Netherlands, we work with almost 900 enthusiastic colleagues towards the same goal; delivering high-quality baby and children's food based on goat and cow milk! The products are made in our three factories in the Netherlands (Kampen, Leeuwarden, and Heerenveen) and sold worldwide from our own sales offices and local distributors on all continents. We work with a team of 200 colleagues at our headquarters in Zwolle. 

• You bring both technical expertise and people skills to the table. We’re looking for someone who meets the following criteria: 
• Academic background in Auditing, Economics, Controlling, or Business Management 
• CPA or equivalent (e.g., RA or RO) certification completed 
• At least 4 years of relevant experience (e.g., Big-4 audit, internal audit, operational audit) 
• Strong understanding of internal control principles, accounting standards, and legal requirements 
• Experience with IFRS and SAP (preferred) 
• Analytical, accurate, and results-driven with excellent problem-solving and project management skills 
• Strong communication and consulting skills in both Dutch and English 
• Skilled in change management, with the ability to overcome resistance and engage stakeholders 

• A salary between € 4,300.00 euro & 6,400.00 euro (based on fulltime) depending on education and experience;
