You will contribute to KPN's leading digital operations by unlocking data. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, taking charge of creating and operating technically sound solutions, in order to make KPN a fully digital data driven company.

Our team is responsible for providing insight and grip on our assets and our compliancy status. We are responsible for integrating this data along with providing crucial information to management of change- and incident processes in the Network domain. We make this integrated data available with consistent, reliable, accurate, timely information so that our stakeholders can act.

Where needed you will be developing and maintaining CakePHP-based applications where data is the key element for insights, automation and reporting. This varies from creating convenient data-entry applications ensuring ultimate data quality with advanced validations using multiple REST APIs, to visualising networks, cables and all its elements both schematically as well as geographically.

Additionally, you will be maintaining nearly 30 existing CakePHP applications and integrations in all sorts of knowledge domains in the organisation. This includes fiber optics roll-out, HR, major incident management, capacity management and more. This all includes the architecture the applications are running on.

We would like you to bring to following skills:

Lead consultant & full-stack developer
5+ years experience in software development
Extensive experience in using CakePHP framework
Creating fast and secure web applications & HTTP REST APIs
Experience designing and optimizing fast performing databases
Affinity with graph theory, search & visualisation algorithms
Affinity with GIS systems like ArcGIS and FME
Experience working with large data sets, setting up ETL importing/exporting them with good performance
Ability to make things look nice while keeping performance
Knowledge of SSL and ability to harden/debug/configure connections
Fluent in Dutch and English
