About us

We empower smallscale farmers in West Africa, creating sustainable income and significant impact. Our innovative approach connects farmers and their products directly to international clients using our proprietary software for ensuring traceability and transparency. This way we cut out the middlemen and give the farmers the best price. Next to that we work together with the farmers to restore the environment through reforestation.

Your role

As our Business Development Intern, you will work on high-impact projects that help We grow our core business and expand its value to farmers and partners. You will support market analysis, help develop and test new business models, and contribute to sales and fundraising initiatives. Your work will focus on strategic opportunities such as designing reforestation and carbon credit models, identifying new commodities to include in our portfolio, and exploring B2C product ideas that bring farmer-made goods directly to consumers. You will help map opportunities, prepare business cases, and support the development of pitches, proposals, and partnership strategies. This is a strategic, research-heavy, and hands-on role for someone who wants to work on meaningful innovation in sustainable agriculture.


Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

  • Language: Professional Working Proficiency in Dutch and English
  • You should be based in the Netherlands
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Experience or interest in business model innovation, sustainability, or rural development
  • Ability to work with data using tools like Excel or Google Sheets
  • Clear and structured communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Motivated by impact and curious about market-based solutions to global challenges
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
