About the company
This facility plays a key role in the development and production of intraocular lenses and advanced drug delivery systems for eye-related conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Role description
As a Process Technician, you’ll be working directly on the production floor to resolve process deviations, optimize manufacturing performance, and ensure products meet the highest quality standards. The main goal is to support and improve manufacturing operations on-site. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with opportunities to make a real impact in a high-tech, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing deviations and bottlenecks
  • Represent safety, quality, and service in daily operations
  • Conduct yield analysis and follow up across departments
  • Draft and revise SOPs and process documentation
  • Support validation, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide input on design and manufacturability improvements
  • Evaluate new materials, equipment, and process alternatives
  • Develop process specifications and assist with tooling and vendor assessments
  • Facilitate capability studies and technical experiments
  • Train team members and contribute to process standardization
Requirements
  • Minimum MBO-level technical education
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and validation
  • Familiar with GMP, QSR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971; knowledge of Design Control is a plus
  • LEAN Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom and regulated environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Proactive, analytical, results-driven, and team-oriented
