Are you a skilled independent chef ready to showcase your craft in Amsterdam? Join the energetic kitchen team in this full-time position (38 hours per week) and deliver exceptional dining experiences through precision cooking and entertainment. You’ll have the opportunity to prepare high-quality dishes for large groups while engaging with guests in a live, interactive setting.

As an independent chef, you will be responsible for cooking meals directly in front of guests, combining skill, showmanship, and flavor. From creating vibrant, fresh dishes to ensuring smooth operations in a high-volume environment, you’ll be the heart of the dining experience. You’ll work closely with an international team to deliver consistent and memorable service.

We offer a competitive monthly salary between €2869 and €3639, with a performance-based bonus equivalent to one week's salary. Additional perks include 8% holiday pay, 25 days of vacation per year, and compensation for national holidays. You will receive a one-year contract with potential for extension, under the Hospitality CLA terms.

You have an MBO level 4 qualification or equivalent and excel in working independently. With experience in a professional Japanese kitchen, you are passionate about the Japanese cuisine, dedicated to maintaining high culinary standards and have experience with cooking in front of (large) groups of people.

• A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension;
• A gross monthly salary between €2,869 and €3,639;
• A bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary upon achieving the GOP (Gross Operating Profit) budget and a minimum score of 'successful' in your annual evaluation;

• Minimum mbo level 4 or equivalent ability
• Proven experience as a head chef in a professional kitchen, with knowledge of menu planning and food hygiene;
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management;
• Creativity in developing new dishes and a deep passion for cooking, with a specific interest in Japanese cuisine;
• Ability to work independently and experience leading an international team.
