Are you ready for a new challenge as a production employee? In this role, you’ll work closely with a team to process, portion, pack, and label meat products with care and precision. You'll ensure each order is accurate and ready for delivery, all within a clean, fast-paced environment.As a production employee in the packaging department, you will:
- Pack and prepare meat products according to customer specifications.
- Cut, label and weigh products, as well as register them accurately in the system.
- Store packaged products correctly in cooling or freezing areas, ensuring they are ready for further transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Our client is a specialist in processing, portioning, and distributing meat for the hospitality industry, healthcare, catering, and holiday parks. With over 300 colleagues in Schagen, Beverwijk, and Born, they are committed to delivering quality and craftsmanship. They value a hands-on approach, clear communication, and a no-nonsense mentality.
Wat wij vragen
- You are precise and don't mind working in cold conditions — part of your work takes place in a freezer at around -24°C.
- You have a good command of Dutch or English and a strong eye for quality.
- Open to work in the weekend (Saturday morning twice a month)
- You are available at least 3 days per week (more is a plus).
- An informal working environment with short lines of communication and a direct, practical approach;
- A varied role with opportunities for personal growth through training and on-the-job experience;
- A competitive hourly wage between €14.75 and €16.40, depending on your age and experience;
- Overtime and Saturdays are paid 150%;
- A cold work allowance of €0.28 gross per hour on top of your base salary.
