Are you a passionate and experienced Functional Safety Engineer looking for a challenging role in a leading automotive company? As a Functional Safety Engineer at DAF Trucks, your day-to-day tasks will be both engaging and impactful. You'll be a key player in defining Functional Safety concepts, performing risk analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Define Functional Safety concepts according to ISO 26262
• Develop and maintain Functional Safety documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and suppliers
• Contribute to the development of Functional Safety processes and tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive industry innovations

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Functional Safety Engineer. Do you fit the bill?

• MSc or PhD in Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
• Strong understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
• Excellent communication skills
