As a Security Officer at a luxury hotel in Amsterdam, you're not just walking rounds, you’re the go-to for anything involving safety, emergency response, and guest well-being. Together with your team, you’ll ensure the guests, staff, and property are protected 24/7 in a discreet and professional way.
Your daily mission includes:
Performing security rounds across various hotel areas and departments
Responding to emergencies and providing first aid when needed
Acting as the first point of contact during incidents and supporting the Front Office during busy hours
Coordinating evacuations or safety procedures when necessary
Writing clear and structured incident reports
You’ll work closely with other departments like IT, engineering, HR, and housekeeping, because smooth teamwork = smooth operations.

- Minimum mbo level or equivalent ability A valid Security Officer diploma (ABM or MBO Beveiliger 2)
- First Aid and/or BHV certification;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch;
- A clean record: you’ll need to provide a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) and at least two solid references.
