As a Bid Manager, you’ll be part of a small, agile Sales Team, where collaboration, adaptability, and clear communication are essential.

You’ll work on tenders for major clients like Rijkswaterstaat, ProRail, Provincial Governments, and Municipalities. You are responsible for leading the bid team and managing the entire bid process, including cost estimation and delivering a competitive, comprehensive offer.

Together with the Sales Manager, possible partners, subcontractors, and your colleagues, your ultimate goal is to win the tender.

You are a motivated and enthusiastic professional who can persuade others with both content and relationship skills.

You bring structure and oversight, can handle deadline pressure, and don’t shy away from challenges. You are honest, reliable, and meticulous, especially when reporting to Senior Management in Zoetermeer and the Yunex Traffic HQ in Munich.

Your Qualifications – Solid and Aligned

As Bid Manager at Yunex Traffic, you contribute to tenders for high-end automation and digitization projects in Dutch infrastructure.

You’ll lead bid teams and know how to translate tenders into successful contracts.

• Driven and enthusiastic, with a strong desire to win
• Structured, trustworthy, and accurate
• Honest and respectful in your communication with clients, partners, and colleagues

• A completed relevant technical HBO or WO (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a (technical) commercial role

 Additional Technical Responsibilities (SL-SA-TESAL-PR9)

• Provide technical and operational support to the sales process (remote/on-site)
• Develop and complete technical proposals (Proposal Engineering)
• Conduct site surveys and analyze client infrastructure
• Support bid documents, designs, and feasibility reviews
• Advise on integration, test phases, and sub-contractor management
• May contribute to service contract planning and cost estimation
