Our client is known for its innovative medicines and vaccines, and it also has a major Animal Health division that provides veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and health management solutions for livestock and pets. Join their Packaging Characterization team in Oss, part of the global PATS division, where we ensure product quality and compliance through advanced packaging analysis for our Animal Health organization.
Job Description:
As a Packaging Characterization Specialist, you will plan, perform, and document a variety of analytical activities related to pharmaceutical packaging. Your work will directly support product quality, safety, and shelf-life by characterizing packaging materials using cutting-edge techniques
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct physical and mechanical testing of packaging materials (e.g., Tensile Testing, WVTR/MVTR, Container Closure Integrity Testing, Leak Testing, Rub Testing, dimensional measurements, etc.)
Prepare study protocols and reports in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Accurately document experimental results in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
Support continuous lab organization and ensure adherence to EHS and GMP guidelines.
Collaborate with global stakeholders in R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing.
Requirements:
A completed HBO degree in a technical or life science field.
2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, or material science environments.
Hands-on experience with packaging characterization techniques.
Working knowledge of ELN systems and proficiency in scientific documentation.
Familiarity with cGMP guidelines is a strong plus.
Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive team spirit.
