The client is a prominent leader in the biotechnology sector specializing in human medicines. This company has been at the forefront of developing new products using advancements in recombinant DNA and molecular biology, launching the first blockbuster in the biotechnology industry.
Role Description
As an Associate Project Management Support professional (GCF Level 3), you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional projects across Facilities and Utility Maintenance Operations. Working under general supervision, you will help implement and sustain process improvements that enhance efficiency, ensure compliance with regulatory standards (such as cGMP), and support engineering and maintenance activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental and multi-site projects.
- Monitoring workstreams for operational efficiency and compliance with cGMP and company policies.
- Recommending and implementing approved process improvements within maintenance and engineering operations.
- Collaborating with technicians and engineers to support maintenance programs, training initiatives, and technical documentation.
- Drafting and updating SOPs, job plans, and training materials, presenting new or revised procedures to staff.
- Acting as a liaison with internal teams and external suppliers to meet procurement and operational goals.
- Evaluating and onboard vendors, negotiating terms, and managing supply agreements for maintenance-related services and materials.
- Reviewing invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate procurement records.
- Tracking departmental metrics, reporting on performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assisting with quality audits, documentation reviews, and regulatory inspections.
- Serve as a Maximo work administrator, managing work order planning and updates.
- Ensuring regular, on-site attendance and active participation in daily operations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Ability to recognize problems and escalate as needed.
- Demonstrated understanding of internal customer needs and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with project management and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with GMP/GDP guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Maximo, and SAP.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
- Advanced writing and document preparation skills.
