Job description

The relationship is a supplier of machined metals to their customers' requirements. There is a special corporate culture. It is a team, where everyone is equally important. Every function counts!!! They have an automated production process, a fully automated warehouse with large robots, a travelling AVG and different types of lasers.

What will you do?

As an inside sales representative, you are the customers' first point of contact. Whether it's providing advice or information, commercialising quotations or informing about the order status, you are their first port of call. After all, the customer comes first!

Your main tasks:

  • Providing customers with updates and information on existing or new orders
  • Advising existing and potential clients and commercially developing requests for quotes
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of calculations, quotations and orders in the appropriate systems
  • Identifying potential process improvements/optimisations within the commerce department and recommending these improvements to head of sales
  • Maximise sales opportunities in collaboration with the rest of the team. Together, you ensure satisfied customers and more sales
Who are you?

You enjoy immersing yourself in metal and engineering, are customer-focused and have communication and planning skills.

You have:

  • At least an MBO education in preferably a commercial or technical field
  • 2-3 years' work experience in a sales role within the metal industry
  • Good communication skills. You have a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing
