What are you going to do?
For years we have run a Data Academy for ambitious starters; a programme where recent graduates are trained and coached to become the fully-fledged Data Governance Consultants of the future.  This academy will provide Data Governance training and the technical skills to implement Collibra at one of our clients; allowing you to flow into our projects with continued coaching and support.

In the Data Governance Academy, you will be trained by our experienced colleagues in the following topics:
 

• Consultancy 101 – Storytelling, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, and more
• Data Foundation 101 – Business Analysis, SQL, Cloud, and more
• Introduction to:
  • Data Governance and  Data Governance Frameworks –  DAMA DMBOK
  • Valcon’s Data Governance Maturity Model.
  • Data Governance tooling such as Collibra, Purview and Informatica;
• Deep-dive into Collibra:
  • its benefits;
  • how it works under the hood (Operating and Asset Model);
  • API integration and edge site deployment (on Linux);
  • Workflow development (with Java and BPMN).

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for ambitious graduates who want to become the bridge between business, data and IT. You want to understand the business and get energy from translating their challenges into technical data solutions.  We expect:

• a passion for data: you see the potential of solving business problems through innovative data management solutions;
• the ambition to develop yourself towards a technical data management role
• at least a HBO with a WO thinking and working level;
• strong teamwork, communication and analytical skills
• affinity with technology  (e.g. some Linux/Coding experience)
• interest in Data Management frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK)
• fluency in Dutch and English
