They specialize in providing essential services, tools, and expertise to ensure the seamless functioning and security of critical internet systems. With a mission to uphold a secure and reliable online ecosystem, they work at the forefront of technology and innovation.

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer who is passionate about strengthening the security and reliability of digital ecosystems. In this role, you’ll collaborate on projects that drive innovation while ensuring the protection of critical systems and data.

As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding organizational services, responding to security incidents, and implementing robust security practices with a strong focus on Kubernetes and Linux environments. While cloud security remains relevant, the emphasis is now on securing on-premise and containerized systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage information security infrastructure, including network intrusion detection systems (NIDS), security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for securing Linux-based and Kubernetes systems, including hardening, monitoring, and privileged access management.
  • Provide oversight on AWS cloud security practices where necessary
  • Lead and support security incident investigations across Kubernetes clusters, Linux servers, and hybrid environments.
  • Identify, prioritize, and guide remediation of vulnerabilities, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Stay updated with emerging security threats, particularly those targeting Kubernetes and Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security technologies and advise on secure-by-design architecture.
  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with relevant security policies and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, or related fields (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Minimum five years in similar information security roles.
  • Proven expertise in securing hybrid and on-prem environments, especially Linux systems and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Hands-on experience with security automation, scripting, and tooling (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong experience with security tools (NIDS, SIEM, EDR, log aggregation, vulnerability scanners) and Linux command-line tools.
  • Proficient in security incident response and investigations.
  • Familiarity with relational database querying for security data analysis.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), AWS Certified Security, or GIAC are valued.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
Benefits:
  • A flexible and informal work environment with emphasis on a healthy work/life balance. Office days on Mondays and Thursdays; remote work possible other days.
  • Competitive salary with 8% holiday pay and a 5% end-of-year allowance.
  • Annual budgets for health, transportation, and technology; non-contributory pension; paid parental leave; premium health insurance; and 33 vacation days.
  • Generous annual training budget for professional development.
  • Healthy lunches provided on-site, regular office social events, and delightful team outings.
