Filias is exclusively searching for an experienced and forward-thinking Global CFO for the next growth phase for AAE, an innovative, project-driven player in the high-tech manufacturing industry. We’re looking for a strong leader who shapes the financial transition globally and contributes to cohesion, growth, and integral decision-making. We are looking for someone who provides financial direction but also actively contributes to the broader success of the organization. Experience in discrete and complex production chains is a plus.

As the Global CFO, you are a member of the executive management and a sparring partner to the CEO. You are ultimately responsible for building, strengthening, and maintaining a scalable, future-proof financial structure worldwide. At the same time, you actively provide strategic input in other domains: operations, projects, organizational development, and long-term vision.

You act as a co-pilot within the board, with the ability to lead through the financial transition, maintain oversight and flexibly switch between strategic policy and operational reality. You oversee the whole structure, create cohesion between departments and stimulate cooperation, helping the organization to function harmoniously as a coordinated entity.

Additionally, as the Global CFO, you guide the global treasury policy. You ensure a solid and future-proof liquidity position through effective cash management, smart financing structures, currency risk management and strategic capital allocation. With your sharp financial insight and strategic thinking, you secure the financial agility and resilience of AAE on a dynamic, international arena.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the global finance organization;
• Lead financial transformation: structure, efficiency, cost, and risk management;
• Play an active role in broader business strategy and co-pilot major business opportunities;
• Play an active role in organizational development;
• Collaborate closely with other members within the holding management to achieve integrated decision-making;
• Lead change with a focus on people, processes, and continuity;
• Provide stakeholder management for the Supervisory Board, shareholders, banks, and (international) entities;
• Provide integrated reporting & triple value, ensure that the organization effectively communicates how it creates value holistically;
• Manage risk & compliance, oversee the organization’s exposure to various risks and ensure that the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, policies and standards.

We are looking for an energetic, connecting CFO who understands the numbers and sees the bigger picture. You are analytically strong but also people-oriented, operate internationally, and know how to bridge gaps between teams, countries and disciplines. Additionally, you thrive in an organization where technology, innovation, sustainability and family culture are central.

Must-haves:

• Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a project-driven, international organization;
• Extensive experience with finance and operations in a technical manufacturing environment;
• RA, RC, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent level (or proven experience);
• Strategically strong and hands-on where necessary;
• Experience with transformation, system design and structural development;
• Thinks holistically and maintains coherence across the organization, instead of operating in separate departments;
• Comfortable in a fast-changing, results-driven environment;
• Fluent in English – you are a world citizen with an international perspective.
