Our soybean plant in the Amsterdam harbor is a lively hub of activity. We take soybeans shipped all the way from Brazil, South America, Canada, and Ukraine and transform them into soybean oil and soy meal. Think giant ships, siwertells unloading beans, towering silos, a crush site and a refinery —it's a pretty impressive operation! Join us and become part of this global supply chain.

You'll be empowered to optimize costs, build strong supplier relationships, and contribute directly to the efficiency and profitability of a vital European operation. You’ll be the go-to procurement specialist, ensuring the plant is running smoothly and strategically.

• Strategic Oversight: Direct indirect spend activities, proactively identify improvement areas, and implement procurement best practices to achieve lasting results.
• Project Leadership: Lead local projects, delivering cost-saving results, while strengthening relationships with our stakeholders.
• Negotiation Expertise: Negotiate strong and mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers, creating value for Bunge and our partners.
• Process Innovation: At the forefront of process improvement, leveraging SRM and SAP systems to drive greater efficiency and streamline operations.

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven procurement experience: 3+ years in a similar role, within a manufacturing/industrial/plant environment.
• Expertise in cost management: a proven record of successfully managing indirect spending, ideally supporting CAPEX projects, and negotiating favorable contracts.
• SAP, SRM, Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Fluency in English (Dutch is convenient, but not a must).

Most of all: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Furthermore, you are a decisive and effective negotiator. As a self-motivated individual, you'll be empowered to take initiatives, find solutions independently, and drive impactful results within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
