Job description
As a Programmer Industrial Automation you work within the Industrial Automation department from our offices in Limburg (NL) or in Belgium. You are part of internal projects or can be deployed at one of our customers. You are involved in programming installations, machines or parts thereof, and you deliver your work complete with control documents. You have regular consultation with the lead engineer and/or project leader regarding planning and progress. In addition, you are responsible for the supervision of junior programmers.
Who are you?
- A higher vocational education degree in the field of automation and/or control technology
- knowledge of plant or mechanical engineering, safety and government regulations
- Knowledge of various relevant systems for drive engineering and industrial fieldbus systems is an advantage
- that you can read electrical hardware diagrams and/or P&IDs
- good command of software packages in the fields of word processing, spreadsheets, databases and planning
- Knowledge of PLC control and SCADA systems (e.g. Siemens S7 / TIA Portal / PCS7 / Beckhoff / Allen Bradley / WinCC)
- Experience with the testing and commissioning of control systems at (end) customers
- A good command of the Dutch language and proficient in English and/or German, both verbally and in writing.
