Are you an experienced E&I technician with a passion for industrial engineering and safety? Do you have experience in electrical and instrumentation work within the process industry? Would you like to contribute to gas turbine and steam turbine overhauls? Then we are looking for you!

In this position, you will work with a team of technicians on gas turbine and steam turbine overhauls. The work is carried out according to E&I work safety guidelines and protocols. Your main tasks include:

• Comply with safety, health and environmental regulations during all operations.
• Capture wiring information before breaking connections.
• Shutting down and starting up systems according to established procedures.
• Conducting megger tests, resistance tests and loop tests with simulations for DCS (Distributed Control System) and ESD (Emergency Shutdown System).
• Testing cables and wire to keep systems operational.
• Taking photos and recording information of the current situation before works take place, to ensure traceability.

• Education: Minimum MBO-3 in the field of Electrical or Instrumentation (preferably MBO-4).
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an E&I mechanic in the industrial sector, preferably on a large industrial site
• VCA Basic: Requirement.
• Skills: Able to understand technical drawings and diagrams, work independently and work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility: Willing to work in shifts of 10 hours per day (8 hours regular and 2 hours overtime).
• Team role: Willing to collaborate with other suppliers and disciplines, and actively contribute to the safe execution of work.

• Follow all safety rules.
• Take photos and/or secure wiring information before disconnecting.
• Perform the required disconnection and connection work.
• Assist teams as needed.
• Perform test activities such as:
  • Megger testing, point-to-point cold wire testing.
  • Resistance testing.
  • Rotational testing of consumers.
  • Loop testing through simulation of field components to DCS/ESD systems.
