Our client is a top company in animal vaccines and medicines, with 75 years of experience in research. They focus on preventing infections in pets and farm animals and are also the Dutch sales office, showing their commitment to global animal health.
Role description
As a Laboratory Support Specialist, you'll have a crucial role in upholding our lab's day-to-day functions. This involves maintaining and preparing lab equipment, ensuring lab cleanliness and orderliness, and aiding researchers and scientists in their experiments and projects.
Responsibilities

Take care of animals daily by feeding them, providing water, and cleaning their enclosures.
Perform biotechnical procedures on animals, following animal welfare rules and using anaesthesia when needed.
Conduct animal studies on your own.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test protocols, and work instructions.
Adhere to quality systems like Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Requirements

Minimum of an MBO-4 diploma.
Passion for animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare.
Familiarity with GLP/GMP quality systems.
