Vacatureomschrijving

Do you dream of being part of something that goes beyond Earth?
As an Assembly Technician in this unique space environment, you don’t just work on components, you help build technology that will cross the cosmos. Every part you assemble contributes directly to the success of a mission leaving our planet. In a futuristic cleanroom, your personal launchpad, you work with focus, precision, and maximum dedication. There’s no room for error, because your work is truly mission critical.

A day on the job starts with suiting up in your cleanroom gear. You clock in, grab your daily briefing, and pass a wall filled with mission goals. Today, you're assembling a crucial component for a satellite destined for Mars. You inspect your workstation, calibrate your tools, and perform the assembly with surgical precision. Every second counts, every move is deliberate. In silence, with focus and pride. Together with your team, you ensure flawless quality. At the end of the day, you put your tools away, log your results, and leave the cleanroom with a smile. You’ve contributed to something big.

Ready to launch your career into the next stratosphere? This is your chance to bring space a little closer.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble advanced fiber-reinforced composite components
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and fixed procedures
  • Ensure precise fitting and finishing of each part
  • Work in a fully dust-free cleanroom environment with specialized clothing
  • Detect deviations and contribute to problem-solving
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the workspace
  • Report to the team leader and collaborate closely with your crew
  • Document all activities according to quality standards
  • Opportunity to specialize further in technical assembly or quality control
What we’re looking for:
  • You work with high precision in space, failure is not an option
  • You take ownership of your tasks and follow strict procedures
  • You speak Dutch or English (both is a plus)
  • You enjoy working in a clean, structured, and high-tech environment
  • You’re eager to learn, motivated, and think proactively
  • You’re a team player who can also operate independently
We offer:
  • Gross monthly salary between €2500 and €2900, depending on experience
  • Long-term employment with the possibility of permanent hire
  • 32 vacation days per year
  • Pension plan starting from day one
  • Growth opportunities in assembly, quality, or production roles
  • On-the-job training, coaching, and development support
  • Real space projects, your work literally leaves the planet
  • Travel expense reimbursement
  • Flexible payment options via Staffice
  • Holiday pay and accrued leave
  • A great working atmosphere is guaranteed
