Are you ready to optimise purchase-to-pay, lead a talented team and automate at scale? In this role, you will lead the Finance Operations team and drive process improvements, ensuring our Accounts Payable and Cash Management operations are efficient and robust.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Finance team provides reliable and timely management information that lays the foundation to drive business decisions at Optiver, while maintaining control over our assets. The team consists of sixteen finance professionals who are responsible for accounting, finance operations, regulatory reporting and FP&A. Although our team members have dedicated focus areas, we work together to achieve our goals, supporting each other on a daily basis.

We are seeking a team lead with people management skills and hands-on experience to oversee the daily operations and cultivate a high-performance culture. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our finance operations.

More specifically, in the role you will:

  • Drive seamless Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) workflows in partnership with Procurement, Financial Systems and Business teams to ensure high quality data and on-time payments.
  • Lead the Finance Operations team by fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations with team using data driven insights and KPIs.
  • Set daily priorities across invoice processing, vendor management, payments, cash management, master data management, accounts receivable and reconciliations & reporting.
  • Design robust processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in P2P operations.
  • Contribute to the global harmonization of P2P operations to ensure consistency and efficiency across all regions.
  • Build strong, service-oriented relationships with the internal and external stakeholders — while maintaining robust controls and efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent) in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading Finance Operations and/or Purchase-to-Pay teams in a fast-paced, international setting.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite and Coupa.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a structured approach to manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively delegate to team members.
