De opdrachtgeverSolynta is a fast-growing, science-driven company based in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Functieomschrijving
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support innovation in sustainable agriculture? At Solynta, you’ll be part of a team that’s transforming the global potato industry with True Potato Seeds (TPS) — a game-changing technology that’s reshaping how potatoes are produced, traded, and accessed around the world. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you’ll help ensure that our breakthrough products meet regulatory requirements and reach new markets smoothly and efficiently.
TPS offers a revolutionary alternative to traditional potato cultivation. Lightweight, disease-free, and highly efficient, True Potato Seeds are easier to transport and store, making them ideal for global distribution. Introducing this innovation to the market requires navigating complex regulatory landscapes — and your expertise will be crucial in that process.
You’ll work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to streamline internal processes, manage documentation, and facilitate clear communication across departments and external stakeholders. Your contribution will help ensure compliance while accelerating access to global markets.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and managing variety registration applications.
Coordinating Market Access and Trade Compliance processes to meet regulatory deadlines.
Supporting import/export trials in collaboration with the export team and local partners.
Monitoring regulatory developments and maintaining accurate internal records.
Assisting senior specialists in working with government agencies, industry organizations, and regulatory bodies.
A competitive salary and benefits package.
Flexible working hours and the option to work partially remote.
A dynamic role in a pioneering and international environment.
Opportunities for personal and professional development.
The chance to contribute to a truly innovative and sustainable solution in global agriculture.
Experience in Regulatory Affairs, process management, or compliance — preferably in agriculture, plant science, or a related sector.
Familiarity with plant variety registration, breeders’ rights, and/or agricultural certification processes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Legal, Business Administration, or related field.
Fluency in English; basic Dutch is a plus, but not required.
