Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical, IT and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

As a Project Engineer within the Construction discipline, you will play a key role in transforming conceptual designs into fully realised casco structures. You will oversee all technical aspects of the construction engineering process, ensuring seamless integration of all components from the first drafts to the flawless final product. You are responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and keeping the project within budget. This dynamic position requires both strong technical expertise and organisational leadership. You will coordinate a team of engineers, facilitate effective communication, and lead the development of creative solutions to complex structural and exterior challenges. Acting as the central link between clients, the production teams, and all stakeholders, you ensure everything comes together as planned. The ultimate goal: delivering a result that exceeds expectations and inspires pride in everyone involved. In this role, you will report to the Lead Engineer and work closely with the Project Manager Engineering (PME).

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance & Feasibility: Ensures projects meet all requirements and regulations; assesses manufacturability, and supports scope creation. • Team Leadership & Quality: Provides clear instructions, coaching, and supervision to engineers; monitors project quality and ensures accurate documentation. • Planning & Coordination: Participates in meetings, supports planning, manages information flow, and coordinates work distribution. • Communication & Collaboration: Interacts with the client, PME, Lead Engineer, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and production to align project objectives, report progress, and resolve issues.

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a comparable technical discipline. • You bring at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Engineer, or a minimum of 3 years in a Project Engineer or similar coordinating role. • A solid background in engineering tasks related to hull construction and casco development within the maritime sector is essential. • You possess sound knowledge of structural design methods, construction principles, and yacht interiors. • Experience working with CAD applications and 3D design tools is required; familiarity with AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and NX is highly desirable. • You have expertise in areas such as structural engineering, hull construction, exterior structures, integration of moving parts, and equipment installation. • Your knowledge extends to FEM analyses, stress calculations, as well as weight management and budgeting in complex projects. • You have a thorough technical understanding of yacht construction, production processes, and building techniques. • You naturally approach challenges with strong analytical skills and maintain a high standard for quality and precision. • Clear communication and effective collaboration are among your key strengths. • You have a keen eye for detail, a drive for excellence, and take pride in delivering outstanding results.
