As a logistics employee, you are responsible for the incoming and outgoing flow of goods. To ensure the work in the expedition department runs as efficiently as possible, you are in constant contact with your colleagues and supervisors. The tasks include, among other things:

• Unloading incoming goods using an electric pallet truck and performing the associated incoming goods inspection
• Preparing goods for shipment using a scale, scanner, and computer
• Loading the prepared goods using an electric pallet truck and performing the associated outgoing goods inspection

You will work from Monday to Friday, either from 08:30 AM to 5:30 PM or from 07:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The company you will be working for is an independently operated cold storage facility, which means it stores goods not only for its two holdings but also for third parties. Thanks to its favorable geographic location in relation to the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, as well as its direct access to several highways, our client is easily and quickly accessible to its customers.

Our client has a large storage capacity for frozen goods and can also provide chilled and dry storage. At this company, both full pallets and individual boxes are handled — including inbound and outbound processing. In addition, they offer a variety of value-added services such as wrapping, packaging, tilting onto a different pallet, labeling, and restacking according to the specific wishes and needs of the customer.

This means you'll have a varied job in the logistics departments!

• Work experience in a similar position
• A forklift certificate is an advantage
• A proactive attitude
• A sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in the English language

• A gross monthly salary between €2,500 and €2,800 based on full-time employment (depending on knowledge and experience)
• Travel allowance for commuting distances over 10 kilometers (one way)
