If so, this role offers you the opportunity to make a direct impact on the industrialization of ASML’s most advanced EUV Source systems.

Role and responsibilities

As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role throughout the product generation process for the EUV Source program. From early design reviews to final implementation, you will ensure that new developments are manufacturable, serviceable, and meet industrial requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

New Product Design

  • Define serviceability and manufacturability requirements for new designs.
  • Review technical documentation to ensure alignment with internal customer needs.
  • Define service and manufacturing activities, including diagnostics, part swaps, and recovery procedures.
  • Drive industrialization through process engineering and risk mitigation (e.g., FMEAs, mock-up trials, performance testing).
  • Identify and implement cycle time and downtime reduction opportunities.
  • Optimize system installation sequences for efficiency.

Field & Factory Introduction

  • Prepare Field and Factory teams by creating work instructions and defining required tools and parts.
  • Develop solutions for complex structural issues within your sub-module.
  • Train Field, Factory, and first-line support teams on service and manufacturing procedures.
  • Lead testing of new modules, including test plan creation, execution, and analysis.

Field & Factory Support

Contribute to rapid resolution of complex system issues.

Provide on-site support at customer and supplier locations as needed.

Functie-eisen
  • MSc or BSc in Industrial Engineering, Optics/Physics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, preferably involving design, implementation, or maintenance of complex high-tech systems.
  • ASML experience is preferred
