Some days you finish early, other days you work a bit longer. That flexibility makes this job easy to combine with your family, hobbies, or even a second job.

After the meeting, you check the screen to see how many carts you’ll be handling that day. Then you put on your headset, hop on your tractor, and get started. The headset gives you clear instructions on where to go and which flowers or plants to collect. You follow the numbers in the hall and work through your list step by step. Everything is well organized, so you can keep moving smoothly.

Safety comes first. You drive calmly and carefully through the hall. You’re on your feet a lot, but thanks to the tractor, there’s no heavy lifting  which makes the work easy to keep up with.

You move the flowers and plants to the right spots in the hall. Once you reach the destination, you scan the barcode on the floor and check that the number of flowerpots or plant pots is correct. Then you return your cart and clock out. Sometimes you’re done by 10:00 AM, sometimes a bit later but either way, you’ve got the rest of the day ahead of you.

What will you do?

As a logistics employee, you help keep everything running smoothly. Your tasks include:

• Picking up and moving carts to the right locations in the hall using a tractor
• Scanning barcodes on the floor for accurate tracking
• Checking the number of flowerpots and plant pots

Work via Actief Werkt! at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer

Through Actief Werkt!, you’ll be working at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer. For over 100 years, Royal FloraHolland has been the link between flower growers and buyers and is now the largest flower auction in the world. We operate at three locations: Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg, and Aalsmeer. This vacancy is specifically for the Aalsmeer location.

Actief Werkt! has an office right on the auction site, just steps away from the work floor. That means you can easily drop by for a quick chat or if you have any questions. We’re here for you Monday through Friday and happy to help!

✅ A gross hourly wage of €16.04
✅ Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
✅ Two paid training days
✅ A fast-paced work environment with friendly colleagues

✅ You are at least 18 years old
✅ You are at least 1.65 meters tall (for safety reasons)
✅ You are available to start work at 06:00 AM
✅ You speak Dutch and/or English
