About the role

YACHT Engineering has a vacancy for an Engineering Manager | Electronics at our client - Inalfa Roof Systems Group B.V. in Venray (the Netherlands).

As the Engineering Manager | Electronics, you'll drive our regional R&D objectives and global initiatives. You'll ensure the smooth execution of all new customer and advanced electronics projects by providing clear direction and guidance to your team.

You'll also be responsible for:

• Leading the EE team to achieve ambitious R&D goals
• Overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to development processes
• Strategically planning and managing team resources, capacity, and performance
• Reviewing results, troubleshooting roadblocks, and ensuring proper application of engineering tools and processes
• Providing expert technical guidance to cross-functional teams to overcome project challenges
• Optimizing resource planning for both local and global activities, driving efficiency and overcoming constraints
• Ensuring top-tier software and hardware development quality in collaboration with the quality department and other regional teams
• Representing local interests in global EE workshops and meetings, while also translating global directives for your team
• Leading or organizing global assignments and problem-solving efforts
• Mentoring and developing your team through targeted training and guidance

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• You'll lead and manage your team in line with company policies and relevant regulations.

Job requirements

• Master's in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years driving innovation in automotive electronics
• 5+ years successfully managing complex projects
• Prior experience leading a department
• Solid understanding of ASPICE & Functional Safety (FuSa)
• Adept in both hardware and software design
• Fluent in C/Assembly language
• Matlab knowledge is a bonus
• Demonstrated success in cross-regional and cross-team collaboration

It concerns a secondment agreement at Inalfa Roof Systems Group B.V. via Yacht for one year, with possibility of extension and permanent contract at the company;
