Are you an experienced GL ACCOUNTANT with a strong command of the German language?

Description

Ensure accurate booking of journal entries, accruals, and pre-paid bookings.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
Understand and process payroll transactions effectively.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Prepare and review financial reports as required.
Maintain updated records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the ACCOUNTING & FINANCE department.

Profile

A successful GL ACCOUNTANT should have:

Fluency in German is a must have and English.
Proven experience in GENERAL LEDGER accounting, including journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
Understanding of payroll transactions and related processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in Amsterdam.
