Are you an experienced GL ACCOUNTANT with a strong command of the German language?

Description

  • Ensure accurate booking of journal entries, accruals, and pre-paid bookings.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Understand and process payroll transactions effectively.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports as required.
  • Maintain updated records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the ACCOUNTING & FINANCE department.

Profile

A successful GL ACCOUNTANT should have:

  • Fluency in German is a must have and English.
  • Proven experience in GENERAL LEDGER accounting, including journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Understanding of payroll transactions and related processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in Amsterdam.
