Earn up to €21.60 per hour, work flexible 32–40 hour weeks, and develop yourself in a fast-growing supermarket chain as an orderpicker.

As an orderpicker, you’ll be working in the fresh department of a supermarket distribution center, where the temperature is always 5°C. Together with your colleagues, you’re responsible for collecting orders using a voice-picking system. Your workday starts at either 06:00 or 14:30, equipped with a headset and a collection truck. This truck holds two to three carts that you fill by following instructions from the picking system. Once your order is complete, the system notifies you and guides you to the end station, where you label the carts with your name. Every shift, you’ll have a target to meet, which you’ll be assessed on. You may not hit the targets right away, but you'll work toward them together with your team. The products you collect vary and can weigh up to 20 kg, so it’s important that you’re physically fit to handle this work. There are two shifts: Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 14:30 and Sunday from 05:00 to 13:30 or Monday to Sunday from 14:30 to 23:00

The starting salary is €14.40 per hour for the first 6 months. After 6 months, you’ll receive a permanent contract with Vomar, and your hourly wage will automatically increase to €15.35. How does this affect bonuses? You always receive an 8% ADV (additional payment for reduced working hours) on your hourly wage. This means your actual starting wage is €15.55 per hour instead of €14.40. On top of that, you may receive shift bonuses, outlined below (excluding ADV):

• Monday–Friday, 06:00–20:00 = 100% = €14.40
• Monday–Friday, 20:00–22:00 = 125% = €18.00
• Monday–Friday, 22:00–06:00 = 150% = €21.60
• Saturday, 06:00–18:00 = 130% = €18.72
• Saturday, 18:00–06:00 = 150% = €21.60
• Sunday, 00:00–24:00 = 150% = €21.60
• Public holidays, 00:00–24:00 = 200% = €28.80

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English;
• Available for at least 3 weekend days every 4 weeks;
• Physically strong;
• Available between 06:00 and 23:00;
• Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
