Senior Application Analyst (IAM)

Action is the fastest growing non-food retailer within Europe.
As an IAM Sr. Application analyst, you are the Subject Matter Expert and the primary contact for all IAM related questions. You will focus on managing, maintaining and developing Action’s IAM application. You will support important stakeholders with onboarding new countries, applications, Distribution Centers and maintain good contacts in order to stay informed of developments and needs.

The Job

As a Senior Application Analyst (IAM), you will be part of the Development & Operations department within Technology, and you will report to the Manager of IT Security Operations. Your team currently consists of a mix of colleagues from both the Netherlands and India.

To be successful in this position, you will need a hands-on mentality and proficient experience as an Application Analyst (IAM). You know how to effectively connect with your stakeholders to move forward and achieve your goals. You think in constructive solutions. You are a team player with drive and excellent communication skills, possessing a high level of pragmatism. You are organised and keep appointments within deadlines and according to guidelines. You work efficiently and effectively, even under time pressure and at a fast pace. By the way, you are goal-oriented instead of task-oriented, and you take initiative and ownership. An important part of your work is supporting asset owners with changes and incidents.

You perform analyses to improve and simplify processes and document them accordingly. You will support asset owners with configuring, maintaining and customizing roles. You also provide support to asset owners with configuring certification campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Application Analyst (IAM)
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or relevant IT education
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Dutch would be amazing
  • Knowledge of the operation and deployment of IAM solutions such as Sailpoint, Active Directory, Entra ID Governance, etc.
  • Experience with change management and incident handling
  • Experience in shaping roles and setting up Role Based Access Control
  • Experience in setting up authorisation matrices
  • Experience with an agile way of working
  • Ability to comprehend business requirements from stakeholders and effectively translate them into functional specifications.
