About the Role
As a Microbiology Technician, you’ll be a key member of the self-managing CoE Microbiology team, performing high-quality pharmaceutical microbiological tests in compliance with GMP guidelines. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to support lab operations, continuous improvement, and data integrity within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform (rapid) microbiological identifications using systems such as MALDI-TOF and MicroSEQ 16S PCR
- Execute microbiological test validations
- Work in full compliance with GMP/GLP, EHS regulations
- Support daily lab operations (e.g., inventory management, sample handling, waste coordination, equipment maintenance)
Requirements
- MBO in Microbiology with 1–3 years of experience, or HBO degree in Microbiology
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or microbiology-related lab is a plus
- Experience with MALDI-TOF identification systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with microbiological test validation is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
