 Change & Transformation Manager  

As a change & transformation manager, you are responsible for managing the change activities of transformation programs in Vanderlande. This will involve shaping, implementing, and monitoring transformation plans in line with the Vanderlande Change Management approach. Your change initiatives support our people in their change journeys and are essential to drive a sustainable transformation.  

Within Vanderlande transformation & change management is a fast-growing discipline. You have the ability to implement creative and proven change activities with effect.  

You will be part of the Corporate Strategy and Transformation (CST) team of Vanderlande, reporting into the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation. 

In this role, you have the following responsibilities 

  • Support the deployment of the Change Management capability building programme, to equip the transformation network and drive the required change. 
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive team culture within the Transformation network that promotes ‘learn, share, reapply’, horizontal learning, and recognizes and celebrates success. 
  • Advise initiative owners/transformation leads on Change & Communications to effectively deploy their Transformation programmes/objectives. 
  • Propose and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of tools to empower the change management function 
  • Develop a change management community of change agents throughout the company. 
  • Conduct change analyses, including stakeholder assessments, gap analyses, and impact assessments. 
  • Develop targeted change and communication strategies based on insights from the change analysis. 
  • Track, report completion of change deliverables, signal and anticipate on risk and roadblocks to the Transformation Leads. 
  • Managing communications to the Leadership Team and People Managers. 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: 

  • Long-standing experience (5-10 years) working in change management, change communications, program/project management, transformation programs or communication related field. 
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent active listening skills 
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR, 6 batteries of change, etc.) and related tools. 
  • Knowledge of and experience in change communications  
  • Can-do mentality; i.e. proven ability to be independent contributor with experience in managing communications processes across complex organizations 
  • Structured, organized and stress resilient personality able to quickly understand the issues and find countermeasures 
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations 
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization 
  • Team player with ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal 
  • An excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written). Dutch or other languages would be advantageous. 
  • Bachelor / Master degree ideally in Business Administration, International Business or Strategic Management.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4747 to € 6443 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
