One of our biotech partner is looking for an IT Data Architect. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that support business objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
Design scalable, high-performing data models and solutions.
Define and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other standards.
Manage the full data lifecycle from acquisition to storage, transformation, and retrieval.
Lead data classification and leak prevention strategies to protect sensitive information.
Oversee design and optimization of data lakes/warehouses to support analytics.
Manage asset tracking through the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Design and test disaster recovery plans for data systems.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders; translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data capabilities.
4+ years as an IT Data Architect or similar role.
Strong experience with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.
Solid understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Deep knowledge of data modeling and database optimization.
Expertise in data governance, compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security.
Hands-on with databases, ETL tools, and data warehouse solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English. (No Visa offered for this role)
