As a delivery driver, you will handle both delivering packages and loading the van. You will sort and organize packages before starting your journey. During your route, you'll visit various addresses, including homes and apartment buildings. You'll drive a company van and receive three days of training from an experienced driver. As a delivery driver at PostNL, you're not only responsible for delivering packages but also for independently loading the van. You ensure that all packages are properly sorted and organized before departure.
During a trip, you'll stop at various addresses, ranging from residential homes to apartment buildings (with or without an elevator). You'll use a PostNL van.
To prepare you for the role, you'll have an experienced delivery driver as instructor for three days. After your training days, the number of addresses will increase as you continue working, with a typical trip reaching approximately 180 addresses (an average of 200-220 packages).
Shifts:
You will work a 8 hour shift:
- Morning shift: 07:00-12:00uur tot 17:30-20:00uur
- Afternoon shift: On Hold
Gevraagd
- Must have held a valid EU B driving license for at least 12 months.
- Flexible availability (24-40 hours).
- Good physical condition, able to perform heavy physical work.
- Able to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
- Representative and service-oriented.
- Available for two Saturdays per month.
- Candidates must reside within a 20 km radius of the location in the Netherlands.
Aanbod
- A gross salary of €16.04 all-inclusive (including holiday pay, statutory days off, and ADV), excluding vacation days and allowances;
• Travel allowance of €0.22 per kilometer, up to a maximum of 35 km one way;
• Surcharge of 40% on Saturdays and 100% on Sundays;
• 20 vacation days (based on a 40-hour workweek);
• Prospect of a permanent contract after 700 hours worked;
• Accrual of pension benefits immediately upon starting;
• Option to work full-time, part-time, or Saturdays only;
• Opportunity to obtain a truck or bus driver's license;
