We are looking for an experienced CPE Wi-Fi QA Engineer to join our client’s QA and certification team. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and managing labs for broadband CPE devices and wireless technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute tests for CPE devices and services.
Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and technical teams for certification and connectivity.
Manage and set up test labs for broadband CPEs, gateways, and extenders.
Conduct network and device quality testing to enhance performance and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in CPE/networking testing and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of DOCSIS, Fiber, Wi-Fi 5/6, IPv4/6, and device management.
Experience with test tools, traffic generators, and stability testing.
Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
3+ years of experience in broadband CPE testing.
Strong IP networking skills for device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments.
Experience with Python scripting for automation.
