For our client, we are looking for a temporary, experienced chemical analyst to join the team in Hillegom.

Please note: only applicants with experience in HPLC and GC will be considered. This is a strict requirement.

Where will you be working?

In Hillegom, there is a production site where products such as hand soap, hand sanitizers, detergents, and cleaning agents are manufactured—mainly for dispenser refills. The production process involves blending ingredients such as pure soap, osmosis water, colorants, fragrances, and other active components according to specific formulations. After quality control, the products are filled into various packaging types and distributed to different markets.

What will you do as a chemical analyst?

Within a team of six, you will take on a leadership role. You will mentor and coach Quality Engineers, preparing them for the future. You will be at the forefront of training and supporting colleagues with content-related guidance.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing various analyses, including HPLC and GC
• Contributing to the implementation and maintenance of a GMP-compliant environment
• Standardizing and optimizing procedures
• Leading, training, and supporting the team in daily tasks
• Assisting in the transition to a LIMS system, including administrative processing and efficiency improvements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced chemical analyst who:

• Is capable of training others and open to a temporary project
• Has leadership capabilities
• Combines a strong personality with a proactive, hands-on mindset
• Speaks English (Dutch is not required)
• Holds MBO-4 or HBO level qualifications with proven experience as a chemical analyst
• Is available at least 4 days per week
• Is flexible with working hours (start time between 07:00 and 09:00, with a 7.5-hour workday)
