Your role as a Assistant Crane Operator:

• Attaching and guiding loads during crane movements 
• Securing chains, slings, or straps around metal profiles 
• Inspecting lifting equipment for wear and ensuring compliance with safety standards 
• Communicating clearly with the crane operator, either visually or via radio 
• Guiding the lifting and movement of heavy goods 
• Securing the work area before and after lifts 
• Promptly reporting any hazardous situations or irregularities 

Work schedule:

• During the training period, you will work one shift from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30. After this, you may be required to work a two-shift schedule, with the second shift running from 15:30 to 24:00. 

To succeed in this job, you should be:

• Knowledgeable about lifting safety regulations 
• Experienced in lifting work or crane operations (preferred) 
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure 
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one 
• Able to communicate well in English or Dutch
