Did you know that at Tata Steel in IJmuiden, we're leading the way in steel industry sustainability? On our terrain spanning 1,500 football fields, we're working daily on innovative solutions for green steel production!

During this internship, you'll make a crucial contribution to our climate ambitions. Your mission? Optimizing an advanced separation process for carbon monoxide from steel production off-gases.

As an intern at Tata Steel ...

• Dive into the world of gas separation technology. You'll work on an innovative process to recover and reuse carbon monoxide in the production process.
• Develop advanced process models. Using Aspen simulation software, you'll optimize the technical configuration of the separation process.
• Make a concrete contribution to sustainability. You'll investigate how we can reuse carbon monoxide as a reduction agent or raw material for synthetic fuels.
• Work at the heart of technical innovation. You'll be part of our R&D team and get a unique glimpse into the future of sustainable steel production.
  
  

You're a technically oriented student with a passion for process innovation and sustainability. You dare to think outside the box and are curious about the latest technological developments. Moreover:

• You're following an WO education in Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have an affinity with process simulation and modeling.
• You possess good analytical and programming skills.
• You speak and write English and Dutch excellently.
• You're looking for an internship of 6 to 9 months.
