Looking for an Action-Packed Job? Become an Order Picker! 💪Tired of boring office jobs? Want to do something cool with your hands? This is your chance to become an order picker in the steel industry — and learn how to use a crane that lifts up to 10,000 kg. We’ve got the gear, the tools, and the team to train you!
Here’s what you’ll do:
* 📦 Pick and pack steel parts from giant shelves
* 🏗️ Learn to operate an overhead crane (we’ll teach you!)
* 🚛 Help load trucks with heavy-duty materials
* 🤝 Team up with your crew to get things done safely and efficiently
Jouw nieuwe werkplek
You will be working in a large warehouse, where all the steel is stored. The warehouse is partly open as steel is delivered by boat weekly. This means that in summer it can be warm, and in winter it can be cold, but you can dress accordingly to protect yourself. The warehouse can also be quite noisy, as steel clashing together creates a fair amount of sound. It’s important that you can handle this and remain focused despite the noise.
