Are you a proactive individual with a passion for logistics, structure, and people? Do you want to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of returns within a dynamic distribution center? If so, this position as Working Foreman Packaging in Nieuwegein is perfect for you. You will combine physical effort with administrative precision, ensuring everything in the warehouse runs smoothly with your team. As a Working Foreman, your day begins with checking the packaging returned by drivers: pallets, roll containers, and other return items. You ensure everything is sorted, processed, and recorded in the systems. You are the point of contact in the packaging warehouse, liaising daily with drivers, suppliers, and logistics colleagues. Together with two colleagues, you streamline the process, also handling reach work and light goods receipt tasks. In addition to your operational role, you maintain oversight, ensure structure, and actively contribute to process improvements. You work with handheld scanners and Excel, ensuring the administration of returns is complete and timely. Thanks to your approach and energy, the return process runs smoothly, and the work floor remains neat, safe, and efficient. Working hours are between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. You work a maximum of 8 hours per day, but you can be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Schedules are made in consultation.

- An additional allowance of €0.55 per hour when working in the cold storage (if applicable);

Wij vragen:

- MBO+ working and thinking level with experience in a leadership role, preferably in logistics;
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate others;
- Ability to handle stress and switch quickly in a dynamic environment;
- Possession of a forklift or reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one;
- Good command of the Dutch language;
- Available for 36 hours per week, deployable from Monday to Saturday (schedule in consultation);
- Willingness to perform physical work and participate on the floor.
