About the role
Role: Account Executive
Location: Amsterdam
Language: English
WFH policy: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week in office
Industry: B2B SaaS (targeting regulated sectors, banking/financial services focus)
Product: Digital Identity Management
Size and functions of local team: ~
Role description: Outbound focused AE - Enterprise SaaS; focus on financial services (banks) but not exclusive to the sector. 50% of customers so far are FS.
Average deal size: €120K+ ARR, Cycle: 3-6 months
Leads: Until now, primarily inbound via marketing (campaigns, website), filtered by marketing; some outbound from BDR and sales team. This role is to help build on the outbound success
Expectations: Self-gen via cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), hunter mentality, not reliant on marketing/BDR
Global role with focus on Europe and US
Unique about the company:
High retention, multicultural team (50% Dutch, rest from all over the world)
Strong flexibility and openness to tool/process suggestions
Growth perspective:
Opportunity to shape and mature outbound function
High visibility due to team size
Influential role in go-to-market evolution
Must haves:
5+ years AE experience (or strong profile with ≥2 yrs as BDR then AE)
Proven success selling to corporate accounts, ideally in regulated industries
Strong outbound/hunter mentality
Comfortable working US hours occasionally
Team player but self-sufficient and able to work independently
Nice to haves:
Background or significant exposure to banking/financial sector
Experience working across EU and US markets
Salary range & secondary benefits: 70k base + bonus
