• Gross hourly wage starting from €14.58, depending on your experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks – that means 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance from 20 km per day: €0.14 per kilometer
• 8% holiday pay, paid out in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days (based on a full-time contract) + an extra day off on your birthday
• 8-month contract, with a 1-month trial period and the possibility of a permanent contract
• Opportunity to earn your SVS cleaning diploma (basic cleaning course)
• Training and development options to grow into roles like Supervisor or Team Leader

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Public Area Cleaner to join our team at NIU Fender Hotel in Amsterdam Oost. This is a physically active job that includes moving heavy linen trolleys and maintaining large public areas, so it’s important that you’re comfortable with physical tasks and staying on your feet throughout the day.

Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning the reception area and first-floor toilets in the morning
• Tidying and cleaning the breakfast area, including nearby toilets
• Cleaning 4 elevators using the right products
• Restocking and checking pantries
• Handling linen, including moving trolleys, collecting dirty linen, and distributing clean linen

Working hours:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full-time position with steady morning hours
• Must be available at least 2 weekends per month
• Extra weekend shifts can be discussed

• Someone who is physically fit and able to handle a busy shift with movement and lifting
• Independent, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Able to communicate in English
• Live in Amsterdam or nearby
• Experience in hotel or public area cleaning is a plus, but not necessary
