In this position, your daily tasks will include: 

• Oversee and manage sourcing and purchasing processes to align global demand with supply efficiently and cost-effectively;
• Collaborate on sustainability initiatives related to sourcing, ensuring compliance with ESG standards;
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies, including written SOPs, KPIs, and knowledge resources;
• Execute and manage Strategic Partnership agreements, monitoring supplier performance and conducting engagement reviews;
• Coordinate data collection and reporting for responsible sourcing, ensuring adherence to sustainability targets and proper governance;
• Conduct comprehensive management reporting, providing insights and analysis to inform decision-making regarding suppliers and risks;
• Maintain business continuity and ensure the operational stability of sourcing practices while managing licenses and certifications;
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers while assessing their performance and risks;
• Act as a sustainability advocate within the organization, increasing awareness of responsible sourcing and ESG initiatives among stakeholders.

Gevraagd

In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have: 

• 3+ years working experience, preferably in a large international organization;
• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) is required;
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, including macros, pivot table and graphing as well as PowerPoint are required;
• Experience in ERP software, preferably SAP;
• Experience (and personal interest) working in sustainability;
• Experience in supply chain, sourcing, and procurement, especially with agricultural commodities;
• Fluent in English required. 

Aanbod

This assignment is located in Utrecht and will be 40 hours per week with a hybrid working arrangement. The gross monthly salary for this role will be between €6000 - €7000, depending on your experience and seniority. This assignment will start ASAP, so please only apply if you are already located in the Netherlands and available to start immediately.

For a global beverage manufacturer, we are seeking a specialist to work within sourcing and procurement to ensure a sustainable and timely delivery of raw materials to factories all over the world. You will be joining the team that manages sourcing and buying, supply chain (warehousing/logistics) and planning processes to ensure optimal alignment between demand and supply on a global scale

This is a temporary assignment that will start immediately and last until the end of 2025.
